Natsu Ogata is an abstract painter based in Tokyo. She graduated from the Waseda University with a major in art history. After graduation, she worked at various companies as an office clerk, but collapsed from overwork and spent two months confined to bed in 2014. She began painting regularly as a part of her rehabilitation. Natsu doesn’t have a formal education in art and is entirely self-taught. She chooses her media intuitively as she creates abstract works full of colors and happiness.
